Description:
An early 1970s Royal Worcester large potpourri vase painted with fruit, the ovoid body with broad band of hand painted apples and blackberries on a leafy ground and small vignette of grapes to the reverse, signed by the artist John Smith, gilt basket weave bands to the base and conforming elaborate pierced cover with spire finial, the small interior lid with plain gilt highlights. The base with printed mark and shape #1286 and painted detail. Height 26 cm. With original Chandler House receipt of purchase dated 8/11/72.
