Tuareg Takouba sword, 33 1/4 inch x 1 1/2 inch wide double edged blade, each face single fullered and stamped with six crosses, rounded tip blade, steel leather covered grip and cross guard, oval door knob shaped pommel fitted with brass domes to end of blade tang. Leather scabbard with all over designs, replacement tip at drag, two wide leather straps with cast brass ring shoulder strap support. Length 37 3/4 inch . c.1880-1900
