A 1930s Royal Worcester fruit hand-painted barrel by E. Townsend, fully painted and highlighted with peaches, grapes, apples and blackberries amongst various foliage, gilt encircling bands and detail, printed mark date coded to 1932, signed by the artist. Original gilt metal tap, later fixed glass stopper, small flake loss. Length 16.5 cm, diameter 12 cm, in original fitted oak cradle stand.
