A bow soft paste porcelain figure, circa 1760s, from the series, the rustic Seasons, the seated female figure emblematic of spring with a basket spilling flowers and a straw bee skep beside her, raised on a typical raised rococo base picked out in puce and blue, with a square aperture to the rear of figure for use as a candlestick; firing crack to base, small repair, height 15.5 cm
