A Napoleon III burr Thuja and kingwood cigar box, circa 1860s, the elongated casket with a gently domed profile, with kingwood crossbanding, ebonised edges and borders with ivory stringing, a decorative foliate brass and mother-of-pearl lozenge to the lid, having a fall front and three drawers each with provision for eight cigars, raised on petite bun feet; remnant label underside, height 12 cm, length 32 cm, width 11.5 cm
