A late 19th century bronze group of a boy, by Jean-Louis Gregoire (1840-1890), standing by a tree stump holding a dove whilst clipping its wings, signed L. Gregoire and inscribed on a plaque ‘Si tu veax qu'an t'epargne / epargne aussi les cuitres / La fontaine'. Height 48 cm. Reference: for a comparable example see S.V.V. Schmitz Laurent S.A.R.L.
