A Spode rectangular comport with twin handles, Circa 1820, painted to the centre with a waterbird (Godwitt) in a riverside setting reserved on grounds of apple green and cobalt blue demarcated by gilded 'C' scrolls, the twin handles gilded and formed as leafy branches, marked in puce script 'Godwitt.
