A fine pair of late 18th/early 19th century Anglo-Portuguese rosewood armchairs, the cartouche shaped back with pierced splat and C-scroll carved top rail above reeded shaped down swept arms with over scrolled hand rests on shaped supports, over a drop in seat, carved front rail and raised on cabriole legs with foliate carved knees and scrolled leaf feet (2).
