A 19th century mahogany and line inlaid lady's writing desk, in the Sheraton style, circa 1840, the upper section with a three-quarter gallery with central shell inlay above an arrangement of pigeon holes and drawers and a pair of faux book spine drawers, over a cross banded writing surface and a long drawer, raised on square tapering legs joined by single stretches, 54.5 cm wide, 54 cm deep, 99 cm high.
