A William IV rosewood and upholstered double ended sofa, circa 1835-40, the elaborately carved back with scrolled decoration and central palmette above over scrolled arms with acanthus leaf decoration, upholstered in a contemporary yellow moire fabric, above an ogee moulded rail with flower heads, raised on bulbous acanthus leaf carved legs with recessed castors. Width 222 cm. Depth 56 cm. Height 106 cm
