An Australian silver wine ewer, by A.L. Brunkhorst, Adelaide, circa 1890, the plain tapering tubular body on a shallow pedestal spreading foot, a short neck rising to an elongated rim spout and leaf capped handle with a flange and foliate junction at the base, with a gilt interior, the body engraved 'Adelaide Hunt Club Cup / 1892 / Presented by the / President / A.G.Downer Esq / Won by / Brownlock / Ridden by A.E.Braund / Owner / P.F Bonnin'. Height 44.5 cm, 1,370 gms.
