Description:
A 19th century Australian full cedar chiffonier, the shelved back with carved scroll decoration above a rectangular top over a long drawer with semi-circular moulding above a pair of shaped raised panel doors enclosing a shelf flanked by tapering turned pilasters and raised on ring turned and bulbous feet, 110 cm wide, 47 cm deep, 144 cm high. Provenance: Purchased by the current owner's family in 1937 from Colman Page & Co, with receipt of purchase.
