A late 18th century Scandinavian painted armchair, together with a later copy painted by mark Stanford, the curved top rail with a pair of parrots above a single cross rail, out swept arms on curved supports over a drop in seat, curved front rail and raised on slender tapering legs, decorated overall with birds and foliage, the later chair signed on the front rail 'Mark Stanford 85' (2)
