A pre-European Maori carved pounamu chisel, broken in two, the drill suspension hole broken and top section missing, semi-cylindrical form, longitudinal polished lapidary grooves evident, the blunt blade end with angled bevel. Broken in two and re-glued. Length 14.5 cm. Provenance: The Flower Family Collection.
