Two bronze standing figures, late Ming dynasty, 17th century, one wearing a wide-sleeved robe and court hat, the other wearing a cloth cap with long trailing ribbons and holding a fly whisk, wood stands. -4. 23 cm high. Provenance: Charlotte Horstmann and Gerald Godfrey Ltd., Hong Kong, 27 February 1986, Mr. Daniel F. Murphy, Melbourne, acquired from the above, Private collection, Perth, Charlotte Horstmann and Gerald Godfrey Certificate of Antiquity dating these figures to the 17th century, circa 1620
