A famille-rose 'hundred butterflies' bottle vase, mark and period of Guangxu, the compressed globular body rising from a short foot to a tall waisted neck, painted on the exterior with the 'hundred butterflies' design divided by a band of lotus scrolls and stylised shou characters around the shoulders, the rim and foot with ruyi and lappet bands, inscribed to the base in iron-red with a six-character reign mark. 39 cm high.
