A gilt bronze figure of Mahakala, Mongolia or China, 18th/19th century or later, the six-armed deity standing over an elephant-headed prostrate figure on the oval lotus base, holding a chopper and skull cup in the primary hands, and a skull rosary in the upper right hand with a trailing ribbon extending to the upper left hand, wearing jewellery, tiger-skin skirt and elephant-skin cape. 16 cm high.
