A huanghuali and hardwood round-corner openwork cabinet, 20th century, of rectangular form, the rounded protruding top set on corner posts housing a pair of removable lattice work doors within a moulded frame, fitted at the centre with metal plates and lock receptacles and shaped pulls, opening to reveal the interior fitted with one removable shelf over two rectangular drawers with metal plates and pulls, all above a plain apron with rounded spandrels, 169 cm high, 920 cm wide, 46 cm deep. Provenance: Tomlinson Antique House, Singapore. Private Collection, Perth, acquired from the above. This lot is sold with a Tomlinson Antique House certificate of antiquity, describing this cabinet as huanghuali and dating it to the Qing dynasty.
