A huanghuali and hardwood writing table, circa 1900, the panelled top flush within a mitred frame with moulded edge, above a row of three panelled drawers set with brass swing handles on circular back plates, within a raised convex framework extending around the sides and back, supported on corner round section legs joined by moulded side stretchers, 81 cm high, 102.5 cm wide, 48 cm deep. Provenance: Tomlinson Antique House, Singapore. Private Collection, Perth, acquired from the above. This lot is sold with a Tomlinson Antique House certificate of antiquity, describing this writing table as huanghuali and dating it to the Qing dynasty.
