A carved hardwood brushpot Bitong, 19th/20th century, the wood probably huanghuali, naturalistically modelled in the form of a prunus tree trunk, the exterior carved with knots and protrusions with blossoming branches extending up the sides, and pine trees growing from the base and from the mouth rim in high relief. 20.5 cm wide.
