Gothic revival mahogany and oak bookcase, early 19th century, possibly Norwegian, the pediment with tracery above a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the lower section with two long drawers with brass pulls escutcheons, on carved square section legs, height 210 cm width 143 cm depth 54 cm. Provenance: The bookcase was part of the original furnishings of Danmark, Point Piper, when purchased by W.J. Smith in 1926. This bookcase was transferred to St. Aubins in 1936
