Rare pair of Chinese Huanghuali rose chairs 'Meiguiyi' and tea table of heavy set with distinctive Guilian grain, the back chair panels are elaborately carved in a dazzling fashion, in open-work depicting coiled Qilongs flanking a central stylised 'Shou' character in a medallion. Beaded-edged, curvilinear aprons with carvings of confronting dragons, the tea table decorated with curvilinear beaded apron and lower shelf, dimensions: 87 cm high, 61 cm, width 46 cm deep (chair), 45 cm, width 36 cm, depth 73 cm high (tea table)
