An Incline mystery clock, Thwaites and Reed, Clerkenwell, circa 1970s, circular brass case with dial at one end, supported by wooden ramp with date indication shown on edge, all raised on gilt scroll supports. Eight day platform level. The circular brass case with dial at front of the case with Roman numerals. A single hand secured to centre arbour, 21 cm high, 72 cm wide, 15 cm deep. Other Notes: Thwaites and Reed was established in 1740 by Aynsworth Thwaites, maker of horse Guards Parade clock. Thwaites and Reed are known as clock and scientific instrument makers and maintained all the clocks at the Palace of Westminster for three decades.
