Etienne Lenoir (French, 1675-1739), Louis XV mantel clock inlaid with gilded-brass and tortoiseshell, c. 1743, the case surmounted by a putti fighting a mythical beast, the ormolu and enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, signed 'E.
