A Satsuma earthenware vase and cover, ovoid shape, raised on three elephant head feet, the cover surmounted by a shishi finial, the body decorated with three fan shaped panels painted with flowers, figures and landscapes, on a brocade patterned ground with gilt enrichment. Impressed marks (possibly Taizan). Height 38 cm
