A fine Japanese Meiji period small okimono group, depicting the hero Musashib' Benkei carrying the Mii temple bell accompanied by Daikoku, Fukurokuju, Uzame and child, led by an oni. The asymmetrical base incised with a view of the bell at Miidera and calligraphic script. Two character signature on inlaid red lacquer tablet. Provenance: The Flower Family Collection. Width 6.2 cm
