Three studio pottery wares by Les Blakebrough (1930-), a sphere with Tenmoku glaze, circa 1976 with tenmoku glaze, 15 x 15 cm, neriage covered bowl 11 x 10 cm, mortar and wooden handled pestle with grooved interior 19.5 mm diameter, (3). Exhibitions: Les Blakebrough is regarded as one of Australia's leading ceramic artists. His work is represented in the National Gallery of Australia, all Australian state galleries and many international collections, including the British and Danish Royal collections. Other Notes: He is the recipient of numerous awards including a gold medal at the international. Exhibition of ceramic Art, Faenza, Italy in 1974, and a Churchill Fellowship in 1992.
