A Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, beautifully hand decorated with eight fish swimming among water plants, red signature by Dengbi Shan on the bottom of the vase. Dengbi Shan (1874 - 1930) was a scholar at the end of the Qing Dynasty and a Chinese ceramic painting Art master. He was a member of the Zhushan eight friends, a famous Art group specilising in porcelain painting during the late Qing Dynasty and Republic period. His poetry, calligraphy, paintings and seals were recognized and respected by Jingdexhen artists, 21 cm (diameter) x 40 cm (height)
