A Chinese henan 'red oil spot' black-glaze tea bowl, 12th/ 13th century the shallow bowl covered on the interior with a lustrous blackish glaze decorated with five large russet splashes composed of russet flecks reserved against a ground of more dispersed russet flecks, 11.9 cm diam., 5.9 cm high.
