Braddock's Gold Travelling Card, presented by the International Longshoreman's Association, 9 July 1935, the rectangular gilt metal plaque inscribed 'Traveling [sic] Card / Issued to / James J. Braddock / By the / International Longshoreman's / Association / July 9, 1935', with inscribed facsimile signature 'Joseph P. Ryan' and 'President', stamped maker's mark 'Igk Diege & Clust' verso. 5.5 cm high, 9 cm wide. Accompanied by a letter from Russell Crowe stating his ownership, together with a signed letter from James Jay Braddock, the son of James J. Braddock Snr, verifying the letter as forming part of his late father's personal collection. Provenance: Mr James J. Braddock, New Jersey. Private collection, by descent from the above.
