The aluminium prop sword and spare blade used by Russell Crowe in the filming of the tiger fight scene in the film, Gladiator (2000), the tapering blade secured within a wooden handle applied with classical style brass eagle mounts and strap work, together with a second blade showing the damage after just one take of filming this scene, the spare blade inscribed 'Max' and 'M69' in felt pen. sword 78 cm long, spare blade 74 cm long.
