Cartier An 18ct white gold rectangular chronograph wristwatch with registers ref 3212 case 238043CD Tank Americaine circa 2002, quartz movement, silvered dial with black Roman numerals, secret signature at 10, black inner 1/5th second divisions with five minute markers, blued steel sword hands with centre chronograph hand, subsidiary dials at 4 and 7 for 30 minute and 12 hour recording, further dial below 12 for date, brushed and polished rectangular case with back secured by 8 screws, faceted sapphire-set crown flanked by twin buttons, case, dial and movement signed with 18ct white gold Cartier buckle, length 44 mm including lugs. With a Cartier certificate, booklet and case. Accompanied by a signed letter from Russell Crowe stating his ownership. Provenance: Mr Russell Crowe, Sydney. This watch was purchased in Rome after Gladiator (2000) was released. When I came out of the shop the entire street was blocked with people and police.
