A glazed earthenware vase, by Gabriel Paul Sere, French, 1957, the baluster body rising to a slender tapering neck, painted with an underglazed design of linear bands on a grey ground, manufactured by Sevres, France, with producer's mark 'Sevres 57' and 'Manufacture Nationale Decore A Sevres', signed 'R. d'Apres G.S\xC8RE.119.50' and incised 'PN JA 754', 41.9 cm high. Provenance: Galerie l'Arc en Seine, Paris. Private Collection, Sydney, acquired from the above 22 June 2007
