A glazed earthenware vase, by Andre Plantard, French, 1953, the compressed cylindrical body rising to a short neck, painted in brown tones with an underglaze pattern of repeating diamond motifs on a pale green ground, manufactured by Sevres, with producer's mark 'Sevres 53', signed 'A.Plantard 25-57' and incised 'AR 7-53 2004', 15.6 cm high.
