Description:
A French electro-mechanical clock, brass framed 4 glass case with pink-veined dark grey marble base and top and hinged front and rear glass doors, circular matt gilded dial signed 'Bulle Clock, Begard, Douai'. The pendulum is an invar rod with hollow coil bob centred on a curved fixed magnet and suspended using an insulating suspension ribbon, the movement is powered by a single D-cell mounted under the base. Height 60 cm. c.1920.
