Japanese army officers sword and scabbard (pre 1938) 97 cm overall with 82 cm curved single edged blade. Nickle plated steel scabbard wire bound black form grip, pierced and embossed gilt brass hilt, the backstrap with silver family mon. A very nice example of larger size and weight than usual.
