A Rene Lalique 'Bresse' vase, designed 1931, the ovoid body relief moulded with a stylised design of cockerels rising to a flared rim, in amber glass with a white patina, acid etched 'R. Lalique' 'France, 10.5 cm high. Provenance: Leonard Joel, Melbourne, 11 March 1994, lot 393A, Mr Hans Mueller and Mrs Gertrud Mueller, Sydney, acquired from the above. Literature: Felix Marcilhac, R.
