A Rene Lalique Ceylan vase, designed 1924, the tapering cylindrical body moulded with pairs of budgerigars and stylised foliage, in opalescent glass with remnant blue patina, wheel-cut R. Lalique France and inscribed no. 905', 24 cm high. Provenance: Renee Antiques, New York, Mr Hans Mueller and Mrs Gertrud Mueller, Sydney, acquired from the above on 25 May 1989.
