A Rene Lalique 'Ronces' vase, designed 1921, the tapering cylindrical body moulded with entwined brambles, in opalescent glass with a sepia patina, moulded 'R. Lalique' and inscribed 'Lalique, 23.5 cm high. Provenance: Ora Gordon, Grays Mews Antique Market, London, Mr Hans Mueller and Mrs Gertrud Mueller, Sydney, acquired from the above on 24 August 1989.
