A Rene Lalique 'Plumes' vase, designed 1920, the compressed baluster body moulded with a continuous design of overlapping feathers, in opalescent glass with a blue patina, inscribed 'R. Lalique France No. 944', 21.5 cm high. Provenance: Gallery 554, Melbourne, Mr Hans Mueller and Mrs Gertrud Mueller, Sydney, acquired from the above on 3 April 1989. Literature: Felix Marcilhac, R.
