A Gibson SST-6 Chet Atkins 'Cherry Red' acoustic/electric guitar, 1990, American made, serial number 92750526 'Promotional not for resale' stamped to rear of headstock, six 'Mini Schaller' die-cast machine heads, gloss cherry finish, solid spruce top, mahogany body with Chromyte reinforcement, 'Slim Taper' mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, ebony bridge and bridge pins, transducer pickup at bridge with active volume, bass and treble controls, rectangular Gibson case with pink interior, acquired on 9 May 1993, Andrew Farriss had one of these and it's his favourite 'acoustic-style' of guitar for live performance.
