A Maton EBG808C small body acoustic/electric guitar, Australian made, serial number 2181 (1003), natural satin finish, selected Queensland maple neck, 6 mm pearl dot inlays, 'AA Select' solid Sitka spruce top, select Queensland maple back and sides, scalloped Maton X bracing, ornamental 'Herringbone' rosette, 'Keyhole' Tasmanian blackwood headstock veneer with Maton decal, six chrome Grover 'Rotomatic' machine heads, AP5 pickup system, Maton branded 'Hiscox' hard case, acquired on 1 September 2003, I bought this guitar to write and record with, as my other Matons that I used live on tour were always in the 'Band Storage Lockup'.'
