Louis XVI style carved giltwood canape, c. 1900, after Henri Jacob, covered in pink damask fabric, the rectangular crest rail centred by ribbon and laurel cresting, each end surmounted by urn finials, arms on scroll moulded supports carved with acanthus leaves, the beaded seat-rail carved with, paterae on stop tapering legs terminating in toupie feet, height 112 cm width 192 cm depth 72 cm.
