Victoria', verso blank. accompanied by a further six cartes de visite, all portrait photographs, 5 with the imprint of J.Deslandes. Photographic Artist. Inglewood, one inscribed 'Councler Gerke Inglewood' in the same hand as the inscription on the Berlin nugget carte. Another portrait that of the Wesleyan Minister Rev. William Hill, who was murdered by a prisoner at Pentridge Stockade in 1869. These seven images were sourced together and the format of the cards is identical. Mixed condition. The Berlin Diggings (now known as Rheola) were located near Inglewood, between St.Arnaud and Bendigo on the central Victorian goldfields.
