Richard, Te Ika A Maui, New Zealand And Its Inhabitants, (Wertheim and Macintosh, London 1855) Green blindstamped pebbled cloth, gilt lettering on spine, 490 pp. plus 6 pp. publishers ads at rear, brown endpapers. Includes the large fold-out map of New Zealand at front, frontis illustration (with tissue guard) of the Town of Wanganui shows some foxing. The 8 colour plates at rear, with tissue guards, are clean. The rear plates are listed in the index as coloured, but in most examples seen they are black & white.
