Shipping in Australian Waters, May 19th 1852 'Return of the Arrival at the Port of Hobart Town..' of the Brig 'Helen' (109 tons, Captain E.J.Ledwell), which had sailed from Port Phillip on May 4th carrying the Franklin family of 3 in the cabin, 9 male passengers in steerage (all named on the document), and a cargo of Cattle, Salt and Hides.
