A fine pair of Victorian armorial sterling silver spoons, 1873 London, with maker's mark of John Kilpatrick, double struck gilt washed scallop shaped serving spoons, crisply decorated with an allegorical female figure surmounted by pairs of putti to the terminals, a figure playing a lyre within Gothic cartouches to the underside of bowls and maskheads to the throat within foliate motifs; hallmarked to stems, silver weight 201gr length 25.5 cm
