An English fusee duplex pocket watch, key wind and set movement, circular tri-coloured gold dial with applied Roman numerals, black subsidiary seconds at six, having gilded hands, movement signed Grimaldi Thomson strand, to a finely carved and engine turned 18ct gold case, 52 mm diameter. Hallmarked London, 1825-26.
