A porcelain Garlic Mouth bottle vase, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, in underglaze sapphire blue, the pear shaped body painted in a bright cobalt blue on a crisp white body, flying pheonix amongst flowering branches above a band of upright lappets. Provenance: from a shipwreck off the coast of Fujian Province, condition: small barnacles both inside & still remaining on the body, overall good condition, height 41 cm
