Sweet, Robert. Flora Australasica, or, a selection of handsome or curious plants, natives of New Holland and the South Sea Islands, containing figures and descriptions of some of the choicest species most proper for the conservatory or greenhouse. London, 1827-28. Octavo, with 56 hand-coloured engraved plates, modern half straight-grained green morocco (slightly scuffed), spine with gilt ornaments, top edge gilt. A few spots but the plates generally clean. The first Australian horticultural book: a very good copy of the first issue, the text with 1825 watermarks.
